Hamarsey under my wonderful mare Alaborg fra Feti (8.25 only four year
old and three at Landsmot 2004) -and after the black pinto stallion
Frakki fra Feti. Winter coat only partly shed -but a really handsome
young guy. He has staid at Fet this winter and will be taken out to our
own land at Hamarsey this summer together with some other stallion
prospects. Photo: Hallveig

Sara fra Saudakroki in training by Elli and Vidja at Langholt. She
develops well and her is a couple of pictures taken of Sara and Elli
late April. The plan is to present her at show in Hella and then if all
goes well hopefully Landsmot later this summer!.
Selma fra Saudakroki has benn swimming and walking on the treadmill for
2 weeks now. It did her well last year. We are still waiting for her to
find pace-her full brother, the stallion Brjann fra Saudakroki aslo took
some time finding it... Tölt is excellent and trot is also improving so
she develops well -only 5 yrs old. She is now by Siggi Matt for last
training before spring shows...."

26.02.08. Just came home from a great visit to Stockholm, Sweden, following up on my horses there. Rune, Birgitta and Anna picked me up at the
airport and we drove straight to Johanna and Vignir.Vignir showed us Isar and some of his early offsprings that Birgitta bought on Iceland and
later took home. They are from not shown mothers with low BLUP and is picked to get an idea about how strong a breeder Isar really is. With
his amazing pedigree we would think that he will become a strong breeder as well as being a superb individual-but time will show if we are right. Anyway,
the young Isar daugthers looked great and will hopefully be shown later this summer. My Visa fra Sundsberg (BLUP 124), only three yrs old and also
after Isar looked great and will be started by Vignir and Johanna in September. I am also taking my two 1 yrs old Isadora and Gullinn to Vignir
and Johanna to get an optimal upbringing until they are ready to be started in 2-3 yrs time. My two stallion prospects-Hugur now being castrated,
looked great as well. They have been sucessfully started by Johanna and Vignir and are up for sale. I have decided not to keep stallions abroad-its
just too difficult . We also visited Susanna and family at Gröna Gangen and looked at all their beautiful horses-many of which comes from Holtsmula.
I was fortunate to buy Platina fra Holtsmula from Susanna a couple of years ago-she is now in training at Iceland-looking good-so I am very thankful
that she trusted me to buy this promising youngster-only silver dapple orri daugther!

Neala has developed nicely after I saw her on Iceland a year ago

Vignir on Isar, just being started after a leg injury and a period of swimming.

28.01.08. Iceland: First of all big thanks to Hannes and Inga that is taking so good care of our precious horses on Iceland and runs our common
business Hamarsey ehf.! Sara fra Saudakroki is back in training at Langholt (Elli and Vidja). She received 1 prize last year and hopefully she
will qualify for Landsmot this coming summer. Also Garun fra Saudakroki, that we share with Gudmundur and Audur, is in training at Langholt.
She is after the famous breeding mare Gnott fra Saudakroki (mother of Galsi and Glymur++) and Gari fra A. She is only four with a lot
of willingness, powerful backsteps and so far medium action. We expect a lot from her but she is young and we will not rush her. If we feel
she is ready Elli will show her this coming spring in 4 yrs class. Platina fra Holtsmula, my silver dapple Orri daugther (the only!) was started
by Elli and Vidja in september 2007 and proved to be very talented with lots of action went to Gunnar Augustsson (that successfully prepared
our Selma fra Saudakroki last year)  for further training in beginning of January -together with another Orri daugther Thula fra Nedra Seli
-also 4 yrs old. Gunnar also took on further training of Selma-in order to show her again this year before we put her into breeding and is
now also our nabour at Hamarsey. Platina is now taken to Sigurssteinn for further training (winner of WC in pace this summer), Thula is still
by Gunnar and Selma is opened up by Siggi Matt before we take her back to Gunnar. Vaka fra Rip, the Isar daugther that I own togeteher
with Birgitta Ibert is in training by Kristin and Brandur at Kirkjubærklostur-also 4 yrs old-So a lot of horses in training right now-hopefully
we get at least qualified for Landsmot this year-I will bring my whole family there and that had been fun!

Sweden: Big thanks to Märtha and Magnus for taking so good care of my two boys! and thanks to Johanna and Vignir for excellent training
of the two-and Birgitta Ibert for always keeping an eye on our horses and for great hospitality when I visit!!Ljomi and Hugur, my two stallion
prospects were started by Vignir and Johanna in September 07. Hugur is shy and somewhat tense -also under rider -and we decided to castrate
him in order to get him calmer and more cooperative. He is truely beautiful, big, long legged with thick double mane covering his mule-great legs
and hooves so its not with light heart I castrate him -but its for the best and on Vignirs advice.
Ljomi, my palmino Askur son, is very cooperative with a great character and also with good movements and strong pedigree
(after a 1 prize Atli mother). Visa, my beautiful black Isar daugther (after best six yrs mare in Sweden last year and VC participant-Vaka fra
Østeråker is now going in a big heard by Vignir and Johanna and to be started in September. Katla fra Holtsmula, orri daugther is being
trained by Hinni and to be shown in April/May.
Hinni will also ride her in coming Icetölt event in March.

Norway: Litla-Mari is by Stein and Camilla at Lian and will be started by Camilla in September. Looks great and I have big expectations
for this Askur daugther after Heiddis från Fällan (very strong 1 pr mare after Svalur). Our vallak, Ask fra Holabakken -after Asi fra Jor
was sold to a very nice Norwegian family (!) due to my daugthers moving to Oslo and starting at the University.
