Hervar is our most handsome foal this year, so well raised and with a wonderful neck and sloaping shoulders. He is also moving very elegantly and effortless so he seems to have inherited his parents great rinding talent. Mother is one of our most promising breeding mares Hrund that received 1 prize 5 yrs old with very little training and were subsequently injured so she was not able to participate at Landsmot. She is after Landsmotwinner Keilir and Arbæs beautiful black breeding Kraflar daugther Hrefna, her two first offspring receiving 1 prize.

Hervars father is  the great stallion Aron frá Strandarhöfði, winning the breeding class at Landsmot 2008 and a particularley strong breeder of gærdingur (true five gaiters). Hervar is a coming stallion prospect and we will follow him closely and see to it that his true potential is developed.
