Háski is a good looking stallion prospect, black with a white blaze after one of our best breeding mares Hrund frá Árbæ. Hrund’s two first offspring Háski and Hervar (e. Aron) are both beautifully raised with particularely strong neck and great movements on the ground. So it is with particular interest we follow Hrund and her offspring in the future. Hrund is after Landsmot winner Keilir and one of Arbæ’s most promising breeding mares the Kraflar daugther Hrefna.

Háski’s father is after Blesstadir’s stallion number one Krákur, the star at landsmot in Vindheimamelar 2006. During my visits to Blesastadir in 2007 and 2008 I saw many wonderful offspring after Krakur and this year (2009) at Hella he also came through as a breeder with some amazing offspring. Krákur is out of Blesastadir’s strongest breeding mare and the famous Terna daugther Töfri with his exceptional action and speed in tölt and receiving five times 9.5 when shown by Johann at Landsmot in 2002. I expect a lot from Háski that will be started by Elli and Vidja in 2011.
