Frosti is a young stallion prospect after the magnificant stallion Krummi frá Blesastöðum 1A that impressed everybody in the audience with an amazing tölt (9.5) and trot (9) and also showing pace. Grandfather to Frosti is the great stallion Kraflar and grandmother is the 1 prize winning Raun frá Húsatóftum that most likely is Blesastadirs best breeding mare, also mother to Kramsi among other superb offspring.
Frosti’s mother is one of our best breeding mares, the beautiful Numi daugther Fasta frá Hofi. She scored 1 prize on both conformation (8.35!) and riding abilities with a particular good neck and nice head with lots of mane and tale. Her legs are also very strong (9) and she has good leg movements. Grandmother Frida is a beautiful mare and one of Hofi’s best with three first prize offspring so far.
Frosti is currently dark black, but will eventually turn grey (white), like his father. I will be very interesting to follow him which we believe will become a five-gaiter.
