Linda is a very talented mare with a lot of willingness and BIG movements and HIGH action. The latter is partly due to her father Sveinn Hervar, one of the best Orri sons out there with particularely strong trot and high action combined  with a beautiful form under rider-so very well raised. Big movements also comes from her mother’s side, Filipa beeing an inbred of Ofeigur. Filipa is not particularely pretty (like Ofeigur) but with an exceptional riding talent, scoring 8.24 only 4 yrs old. Linda is a 4.5 gaiter that has got pace, but her strength is the trot and tölt, scoring 9 for trot, spirit and general impression-on a bad day! In contrast to her mother, Linda also got a good conformation, scoring 8.5 for neck/winters as well as back and croup, thus front part and “engine” is top notch. Linda will become a very valuable supplement to our core of high quality breeding mares at Hamarsey and she is now in training to hopefully qualify to next years Landsmot (2010). Meanwhile Linda and Hannes has done very well in riding competitions.
